IDEOLOGY (CHARTER)
To establish an international standard for Beauty & Wellness by taking into consideration high professional expertise, sophisticated skills and full of warm hospitality, which will eventually produce talented professionals who can be successful on a global scale.
PURPOSE
- The IPSN is an organization which makes standard-setting bodies for professional skills by synchronizing the level of education in the international field with the aim of mutually recognizing vocational abilities between member organizations. ※As of May 2022, organizations from the following four countries are members: New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Thailand. In the vocational field, the range is Beauty Therapist.
- Through international conferences and events, member organizations develop expert-based knowledge and new techniques as well as exchanges of information to raise the level reciprocally.
- We encourage qualified professionals to be more active in the international stage while expanding our membership sequentially.
The IPSN aims to:
- Initially, IPSN is formed with the secretariat based in Australia, although, to promote and enhance each industry, representatives from other countries are invited to become members and participate in the strategic direction of the IPSN.
- To maintain an awareness of participating countries’ innovations and developments, and to bring these to the Board’s attention periodically.
- Rapidly gather, assimilate & communicate relevant information & advice to all parties.
- Act as a conduit network to link all parties who need, provide or manage vocational learning.
ORGANIZATION
- Headquarter is established in Japan as part of the Japan SPA Wellness Association (NPO) which will operate and provide financial management of the IPSN. Address: 2 -23-3 Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo
- Board Meeting is held annually (in March) which decides the business plan and budget through a resolution approved by the board in every business year.
- The Board establishes “Technical Standardization Committee” as a subsidiary organization for mapping skills and the standard of education of member organizations.
- Members of “Technical Standardization Committee” are selected by the board.
